• Identify specific hazardous materials by applying to visible locations
• Division 1.4 explosives consists of explosives that present a minor explosion hazard. The explosive effects are largely confined to the package and no projection of fragments can be expected
• Group 'S': Article so packed or designed that any hazardous effects arising from accidental functioning are limited to the extent that they do not significantly hinder or prohibit fire fighting
• Use placards on vehicles and large containers
• Specific color schemes, symbols, words, and numbers requirements identify the hazard
