• Identify specific hazardous materials by applying to visible locations
• Division 1.4 explosives is comprised of explosives that present a minor explosion hazard. The explosive effects are largely confined to the package and no projection of fragments can be expected
• Group G: includes a pyrotechnic substance or article containing a pyrotechnic substance, or article containing both an explosive substance and an illuminating, incendiary, tear-producing substance
• Use placards on vehicles and large containers
• Specific color schemes, symbols, words, and numbers requirements identify the hazard
